Our parent company, Axsys Technology Group (also known as The Web Company), was founded in 2005 by our owner; Ken Ramirez. Mr. Ramirez has been an industry professional, lecturer, author, and consultant for more than 20 years. After spending time searching for a hosting company for other online business ventures that Ken was involved with, he discoveredt that none shared the vision of quality and customer support that he had in mind. It was then that Axsys Technology Group was born. Axsys Technology Group's focus is set on trying to make every customer feel as though they are our only customer. It is this focus that has allowed us to keep every hosting client we've gained since 2005 without losing a single one to another hosting company.
Originally, Axsys Technology Group was built as the parent technology company and Axsys Hosting as the premium hosting spin-off. Axsys Technology Group was focused on bringing in customers looking for professoinal custom website designs that involved premier services, full-cycle development, documentation (including requirements, analysis, and complete custom designs) for our customers' websites. These customers usually have an existing website that they're trying to rebuild, redesign, or extend. They are normally well established, have community recognition, and are often financially stable.
However, most recently, we've discovered that there is another type of customer out there. These are the mom & pop shops, family businesses, private practices, small firms, or starter businesses, that are trying to start their first web presence. We asked ourselves, how could we make it affordable for these clients to provide a professional appearance and web presence to their customers, without spending thousands of dollars hiring a company to develop their website. What if these customers are simply trying to test the waters and fear that a website would cost too much? The answer came in the form of "Build My Site Tonight".
